DOES THIS SOUND FAMILIAR?
Your girls lack or have very fragile confidence, even though you tell them all the time how good they are…
They make one mistake and they crumble; it’s all over their face and they can’t bounce back…
They sometimes don’t even seem like they’re having fun,
and you’re at a loss for what you can do to help.
BUT IT’S NOT FOR A LACK OF TRYING!
You’ve tried books, motivational quotes, inspirational speeches, TedTalks, and podcasts. Maybe you even went so far as to hire someone to come talk to your girls. Some have really committed and added mental training sessions before practice. Yet still, somehow, it’s not quite working.
EVEN WITH A MASTER’S IN SPORT PSYCHOLOGY,
I’VE BEEN THERE.
Going into my first head coaching job, I was confident in my ability to improve the mental game. I had the training, I’d been implementing these strategies as an assistant, and I trusted the professionals who had proven it to be effective. Heck, it was even a part of my coaching philosophy that I talked about in my interview!
We had some very talented players who were capable of a lot more than they had shown in previous seasons, so I was ready to turn the program around. I planned out my mental training sessions, taught them the skills, and knew we were going to make waves this season.
When the last conference double-header arrived, we only had to beat them one time to make the conference tournament. They were a good team, but we had them beat. Then the wheels fell off. We ended up losing both games, thus ending our run for post-season. And it all came down to the mental game.
My heart was broken. Here I was, supposed to be the expert in the mental game and that was my team’s Achilles heel when it mattered. I took it SO personally. I began to doubt myself as a coach and had no clue how I was going to fix it. Maybe I wasn’t cut out for this after all.
After I had my poor me time (and let’s be honest- we need that time sometimes!) I started to reflect on what I could do better.
I circled back around to what I should have already known: the mental game itself is also a process. It needs to be nurtured and we have to hold ourselves accountable for continuing to grow.
The next season I knew I needed to:
– Implement mental training throughout the season and practices
– Use it as a team-building opportunity, and
– Make sure I made time to follow through with these things.
THAT’S WHAT WE’VE DESIGNED THIS PROGRAM TO DO FOR YOU!
This program is designed as a step-by-step guide that you can incorporate into your already busy schedule. If your girls can commit 30 minutes on their own and you can set aside 20 minutes of practice time to focus on the mental game, you’ll be able to incorporate:
– 40+ activities that build awareness and can be used for team-building
– Challenges to bridge the gap between the lessons and competition
– Softball drills to test and refine your new mental skills
All based on the following courses, which cover Olympian-proven and research-tested Sport Psychology skills:
Connecting to why you play and setting the right goals to get you there.
Focusing on the process & exceeding your potential.
Stop beating yourself up and create an inner coach instead.
Managing your energy and emotions so you can play in your peak zone.
Paying attention only to what matters so you can free your mind to react.
Using imagery to remind yourself of how good you are and be prepared for any obstacles.
Creating routines to stay out of your own head and into the zone.
Applying your new skills throughout the season and bringing your teammates with you!
The main reason I’m so passionate about getting this course in the hands of more softball players is because of the feedback I’ve gotten over and over from my Sport Psychology students:
“I wish I had learned this sooner!”
Hearing this breaks my heart because I get it. Sport Psychology completely changed my career and life, but I didn’t find it until late in my junior year of college. My goal is to help get this information to coaches and players as soon as possible, so they can apply them and see similar results!

Is this worth the price?
Of course, I’m biased and say, it certainly is!
But let me put it this way… If you’d pay over $100 for 3-4 lessons for your physical skills, why wouldn’t you also invest in the mental skills that can help you bring your best performance on game day?
Or just think of all the equipment you buy! What good is that top-notch equipment if your mental game is holding you back during games?!
Wondering about the return on investment? With this program, you’ll save time you’d normally waste when your girls are in their own head and you’re spinning your wheels trying to “figure it out” on your own.
You’ll also save the money you spend on extra lessons and traveling trying to fix a mental skill with physical instruction. Most importantly, you’ll save your sanity!
There is nothing more frustrating than watching your girl(s) struggle with confidence or consistency and feeling like you can’t help.
This program will give softball players an opportunity to unlock their mental strengths and exceed expectations. It’s been absolutely worth it in my experiences as a player, coach, and parent 🙂
I'm interested! What do I do now?
Join the Facebook Group and participate in the challenge! No financial obligation- just access to information if you’re interested!
What do I (or my players) need to know before starting this program?
How long will this training take?
The educational videos and activities should take less and 30 minutes for the girls to do on their own. You’ll need about 20 minutes to go over the activities and do the challenge as a team, and the drills you can work right into your regular practice time!
You have lifetime access to this training, so you can take as long as you’d like, or binge-learn like a Netflix marathon and finish in one day!
That’s completely up to you, but if you want my suggestion, I’d say do 1-2 courses per week. 🙂
What ages is this training good for?
This training is best for high-school-aged players or coaches at any level. The reason being, the language and teaching style I use are a little advanced for some younger ladies. The concepts are great at any age though!
What if I have a question along the way?
